So yesterday I found out that the Albuquerque Tribune (our afternoon newspaper) is ceasing publication on Saturday. Now what am I going to help Mom read? We're going to have to get a whole new ritual and I don't want a new ritual. And then, we missed the lunar eclipse last night because of stupid clouds. I don't want to wait another two years. I'm pretty cross about all this upheaval.
Honestly, I am so glad tomorrow is Friday. I've had a very trying week keeping Caroline reasonably unhassled by the little redheaded terror Russell. Who tonight, by the way, chased the actual cr*p out of her and Mom didn't realize and then gave Caroline a hug...and, well, let's just say Mom's been kinda interesting to be around this evening.
I wonder if I should give her a bath or something. I'm good at that.
I agree. Old rituals are best. And, when it doubt, give 'em a bath!
ReplyDeleteOh!
ReplyDeleteOH!
That is one HAWT photo of you!
I mean, you just look so soft, flooofy and dashing.

A bath! Haha...YES!
ReplyDeleteI think Newsprint feels so good on the paws! How dare they mess with you and your mom's wonderful newspaper reading ritual!
ReplyDeleteThat is too bad that your newspaper will no longer be printed. I hate upsets to my routine.
ReplyDeleteshredded newspaper is my favorite toy. headbutts & purrs to your whole family........

We heard about you paper closing all the way up here. We think it is sad when that happens. Must be 'cause mom was a print journalism major.
ReplyDeleteWe saw the eclipse! It was awesome when the moon turned rust colored.
mmmm William, is it ok if I print your picture and sleep with it?

We like things just as they are too William...no changes. NONE...
