OK, so we've made some progress. When Mom got home and called out "Hi, boys!" both Russell and I came to greet her. (Well, Caroline did too, because she always does.) After a few minutes, I just went over to Russell and gave him a couple of licks on the head. He's not a bad kid, he just needs to work on his social skills.
My Aunt L saw his picture today and said he looked exactly like a cat she used to know whose name was also Russell! She was amazed! That got me to thinking. What if there are really only a finite number of cats and we just keep coming back from time to time? Is that how we always know our true and secret names? I've always known my name is William. How many times have I come back, I wonder? Where did I go in the middle? Where was Russell? Were we on a planet with only cats on it? All the cats in the universe forever?
Ooh boy, now my tiny head hurts just thinking about it.
oh tiny William, that is so profound i think MY head is goin' to EXPLODE!

We don't know much about your theories, but Russell looks like he's gonna be a good playmate. Good to have another boy in the house again, huh?
