Then Olivia (see her back there?) ruined my bliss by telling me that the box said Shop Vac on it. Not only that, but this new little machine is bigger than the last one, and you know what that means–it will be even louder! ::scowl::
And then yesterday the beloved single bell pepper that was in our garden was suddenly all yellow and black. Mom was bummed about that. And today, it was gone. Vanished! It was probably taken by whoever–or whatever–ate all the flowers. Mom says they owe us about $35 dollars for it. We're giving up on the food experiment...unless, of course, weeds become edible.
Another noisy machine! Ugh!

Our beans have several noisy machines. We are most scairt of the leaf blower. The shop vac runs a close second though.

That's too bad about your pepper. Dad built a fence around our garden, but the deer lean over it, the squirrels jump over it and the chipmunks climb up. The only thing it keeps out is the bunnies.

You look great in that box, it fits you really well. Sorry a noisy thing came in it though. I think that vishus deer on my site came in and ate that bell pepper of yours. It likes to eat anything, even thorns off the rose bushes.

ReplyDeletei'm very sorry about your pepper. we don't even try to grow foods anymore, they either die or get eaten by something. my Mom does have a nice herb garden tho with parsely, rosemary, cilantro, bay leaves and the most important, CATNIP
