But this is what happened! Remember I told you about the little bell pepper and then how it disappeared and how bummed my mom was? Well, yesterday when Mom was home for lunch and we were at the kitchen window visiting with my bird friends, I told her to look way out at our tiny garden. She hadn't been paying too much attention to it since she'd found the little pepper all yellow and black. But I'd been wishing and wishing things would get better...and look what happened!
Honest and truly, it's the same pepper from the same plant, back from the deep! The really really really weird part? It's supposed to be a Keystone Resistant Giant green bell pepper...but I guess I wish in the color red!
I think you should change your name to William Copperfield.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, maybe they labeled the plant wrong.
ReplyDeleteOr you are in Mew Mexico, maybe it got hit by the aliens and mutated!
Or it was your wishing that made it come true. Keep wishing!
That's fantastic! Your wishing came true. What a pretty pepper!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job wishing for that pepper William! We have lots of peppers here but they haven't started turning red or yellow or purple yet -- they're all still green. Mom and my Daddy planted them in an Earth Box(R) and they seem to grow really well.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comments on my blog when Jemima was posting for me. I enjoyed reading all the comments but just didn't feel up to replying.

You have really potent wishes, William. Maybe all the heat turned the pepper red.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, is this magic? FAZ
ReplyDeleteWow William! You have a very powerful wish ability. You could really cash in on that power.
ReplyDeleteYou could wish for a ham bush in the garden...or a squillion dollars for your mom so she could retire and play with you all day...or both.
It's a garden miracle. I didn't know dead suff could come back. You and yore mom must be furry good gardeners. My mom doesn't grow eating stuff in ou garden because she says we don't get enuf sun.
ReplyDeleteWilliam, you is truly magik! can you come here and wish all the pepper blossoms turn into peppers?
ReplyDeleteWe think aliens are messing in your garden.
ReplyDeleteTake all necessary precautions!
As a connoisseur of peppers, I can say that the red ones are the best!
