Or maybe that should be tails all! Ha ha ha!
Anyway, this is my window in the kitchen. It looks out on my patio. When we first moved here, this was a really ugly view. There was a gross old hot tub out there that no one had used in about a million years. And things were living in and around it, terrible things! Thankfully we got rid of it a few years ago.
About the red dots on the storm door? We put frosted Contact paper on the glass as a temporary measure after a bunch of doves kept bouncing off it. While that worked for the doves, it was pretty ugly. Plus, we couldn't see out if the door was open. Now I can see out and it seems to be working for the doves, too. But do you know what? While they stopped being confused by the door, they got confused by the window! Rascal is so rightdoves are pretty dim. So we added the mobiles to solve that.
You can see our gazing ball farm from here, too. This year Mom corralled them and put some of them in pots so she wouldn't have to bring them inside when the wind kicks up every three minutes. So far so good! And we have some fun birdhouses (vacant) and flowers hanging near the back wall, and all our feeders are off to the right. You can just see a thistle feeder in this picture, right next to the bird rest Mom put together from fallen tree limbs. So this is a pretty fun place for me to keep watch from.
What you can't seeand my mom is so excited about this (???)we have one tiny pepper in our tiny garden so far!
(Like I said???)
Nice picture of you! :)
ReplyDeleteWe need one of those thistle bird feeder to add to the one we got. More feeders = more birds = more times Buddah will smash his head into the window!
Woo hoo! Furry good pichur! Tails rule.
ReplyDeleteWow you have a furry nice patio to look at. Mum likes the fence that you have privacy and purrty flowers to enjoy. And your mum hangs all sorts of stuff up like mum. For fun and to keep the birdies safe.
