So this weekend my Aunt M gave my mom a book called The Cat Who Wouldn't Come Inside. Mom read it to us and let me look at the pictures, too. It's based on true story and very sweet. And do you know what else? I found a website for itThe Cat Who Wouldn't Come Inside! You can even learn how to make a cat out of polymer clay, just like the one in the book. I don't know if I'll try that, but if I were going to, I'd make him a boy and life-size, because I am kind of outnumbered by girls now.
Then, THEN, there was an alien cat in my yard last evening. Mom had her bedroom window open because we had a nice mild day and the fresh air was so nice, and I was just looking at the stars and minding my own business. Well. This cat walked right under the window and yelled at me! I thought that was pretty rude. Mom told the cat to go away and it jumped up on the back yard wall and went home.
I bet it was a girl cat, no doubt eyeing my tiny ears.
Thanks for the info about that book, William... I had never heard of it.
ReplyDeleteThat trespassing cat had better be mighty careful when (s)he's on your property. Stay vigilant -- you don't want word to get around that any old cat can traipse all over your property without consequences!
Rude kittie for yelling at you in your own home. Glad your mum told it to go home.
ReplyDeleteWell you just tell her to go on, those tiny ears are mine!!
ReplyDeleteSometimes (often) Smokey comes over to our window, looks at me and hollers. I mean hello??! This is MY house.
That little strumpet better not be hoarding in on my man! If she wants a yelling match, I'm game!
ReplyDeleteHarumph!
Yeah, that yelling cat showed up over here today. Very rude indeed.
ReplyDeleteYour poor little ears!!
ReplyDeleteYou need to be careful of those tiny ears William. They're too cute to let a rude stranger cat chew on them.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if it is your ears, Tiny Boy. I think it is just your sister that likes to bite on your ears.
ReplyDeleteYou are most handsome.

That's not nice of the alien cat, to tell you that kind of stuff.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy visitors, but they really shouldn't yell at you...

Mom says maybe it was a sad kitty. Or maybe she just wanted to talk to you. But I'm not sure...
ReplyDeleteThose rude kitties have a lot of nerve. I'm glad your Mom made it go away.
