It's Coming.

So we got through the storm all right and hopefully that will be the last one of the summer. Because on Saturday, it's the autumnal equinox and I can't wait! Already Mom has started to wear my favorite robe on earth so she doesn't freeze in the mornings and I get to knead it a lot while she waits for coffee and I sit in her lap. It's made out of fleece and is almost as soft and warm as me. And, it's got my mom in it, too! It's just heavenly.

So my plans for this weekend are to celebrate the equal day and night with I think equal amounts of play. And then I'm going to sleep equally, too. And snuggle with Mom equally, too. So I'm probably going to be pretty busy. I might get some other stuff in, but right now I think that's it.

  5. Oh, we think equal sleep and play is too much hard work. We like to get about 5 naps for each play session.

  7. We had a storm last night. But it is not cold here yet. My mum is still wearing her summer dressing-gown (thin, when I stick my claws in she screams). I will be happy when she gets the soft floofy one out.

  12. Equal is a very good word, Wm., especially the way you put it. Personally, I think Silky and Ninna should divide up 50% and I should get the other 50% (of snuggling and food and such). That adds up to 100% so it's equal!

    Enjoy your weekend!

  13. Bah! Kukka-Maria stole what I was going to say. Grrr...

I'm excited that autumn is in the air as well. However, it's kind of hard to tell since Houston is so humid at the moment. My human pet says she wishes she could wear comfy fleece without sweating buckets...whatever that means.

  15. Moms, squishy robes, and fall ... Life doesn't get much better, does it? I wish that it were more fall-like here in sunny So. Cal. ... Enjoy the changing of the seasons for me.
