My Sister Is DISTRACTING ME.

How can I concentrate on building my Mardi Gras float when Olivia the little piglet eating machine is being such a baby girl. Do you know what she does? She grabs a sponge ball (my sponge ball, by the way) in her mouth, runs to the farthest reaches of the house and then cries with the toy in her mouth! Mom thinks she's stuck somewhere and hurt, so she gets up to investigate and then she sees it's only Olivia with a toy in her mouth, meowing her fool head off, "See, Mom, I have this toy! And I'm meowing real loud!"

Well, see, Olivia, I have to get my float finished!

  1. That is exactly what Turtle does when she catches a toy! Mom says it freaked her out the first few times she did it. It is the funniest sound. It does sound kinda like she is being murdered, but really it is her, "I've KILLED it - look - here it IS" noise.

  5. Dolce does the same thing. It might be a girl cat thing. She will carry and chase he toys for minutes on end, and then suddenly cry out at them for no apparent reason. Baffling. Very Cute, but still Baffling.

  8. Shadow does that too Wm. When she kills one of Kinsey's little stuffed animals she does this wild little meow. The last time it was Kinsey's stuffed shark and Shadow came in and woke up Mom and Kinsey telling them about it in the middle of the night. Aren't sisters a PAIN? ~Merlin

  9. Hmph. I would smack your sister upside the head when she takes your toy again. Works for me.
