Aftermath.

So last night it was so scary that Mom left the bedroom door open for us to come in and snuggle with her. Guess what? Only Olivia the little piglet eating machine baby went in to stay safe. Me? I ran all around the house like a tiny crazy boy. Way after midnight, when it finally quieted down, I still had so much energy going on that I wanted someone to play with. Eventually I got up into Mom's window and sailed onto the sleeping Olivia! Well, she went off like a Roman candle. Scared my mom half to death but I thought it was funny. I took off right after my sister and then we both were running all around the house like two tiny crazy boys (even though she is a girl).

We ran all around for hours, springing off Mom's bed until she told us to stop it. We just changed our path to leave out her bedroom.

I taught Olivia a new game. I call it Invisible Bug, and the object is to make your playmate try to find a bug that isn't really there by pretending you see it all over the place. She was really good at it! We were tipping over baskets, checking under rugs, pulling books out of the bookcase, opening cupboards, looking behind the food dish. Then something happened and Mom was up, flipping on lights all over the place and checking on the mess we made playing, beginning with the water bowl that someone tipped over. I warned Olivia about the water bowl. Mom can be out hunting and can still hear any calamity with the water bowl. And Mom was not very happy cleaning that up. She said, "You two better settle down. It is three o'clock in the morning and I am trying to sleep."

Well, I was getting all hot anyway.

  1. Any game that involves tipping of a water bowl has *got* to be fun!

  2. We LOVE those middle of the night games and always try to get Mom to play, but she never want's to when she gets up to see what we are playing. I'm not sure why she gets up at all then. ~Merlin, Shadow, Ko Ko

  4. So lucky, I would have been locked in the bathroom with the fluffies if I'd done that.

  5. Josie and Huggy love to play the midnight games. Sometimes I join in too. We all love to run across mom and dad's heads when they are sleeping. Another fun thing to do in the middle of the night is to knock everything off the table, the night stand, the desk...you get the picture.
