Well, here I am in the back window of Eddie's room. This place sure has some weird windows. Whoever designed this house must have had dogs. All the bedroom windows are very high and impossible to get into without help. So when Mom rearranged things and moved the desk under this one, I quickly learned that I was able to get into it all by myself. Which is a relief, since it's really embarrassing for a tiny boy almost two years old like myself to rely on his mom for help to get into a silly window! Thankfully they are so high that no one ever saw me in that awkward predicament.
Now I get to see the trees in the back yard. Mom says the back yard is kind of ugly because it was neglected for a million years, but I think there are interesting things out there. Like there's a whole bunch of old dead tree branches piled up against the retaining wall, but a ton of sparrows like to gather there. Mom said she thought they might even be staying inside that pile for the winter, which is why she hasn't had it cleaned up yet. So that's pretty fun to watch.
Maybe they will move into the bird houses we're going to hang in the trees once we get them done and then they'll have real homes!
Weeeeee!
Hi William!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy that you are able to get up into the window. Seeing the outdoors is so nice :) It's one of my favorite things to do! Maybe you'll be able to have the window open a crack so you can smell the good fresh air?
