Bird News.

Well, with the strange and inclement weather we've had over the last several days, our new hummingbird feeders have been up, down and moved all over for safety. We were really hoping to keep them in the tree so they'd be shaded from the sun but that proved too risky in the winds we can never quite get a break from. So as of this morning we've got them hanging over the balcony.

As you can clearly see, we've been very good about waiting for the little birdies to see them again and come drink.

Well, at least for the time it took for this photo.

  2. That looks like a fantastic viewing window to watch hummingbirds. I have a feeder in the back yard and enjoy watching the hummers zip around.

  3. I wish we had a hummingbird feeder. But my human probably couldn't keep it up properly so it's just as well.

Here, they always give me a surprise. For example, Some of them eat fish.... my fish ! ...and some of them eats cat food !
    I'm not joking, guys !

  9. You have a great spot there for bird watching with the sun puddles. Hope your hummers can find the feeders with them having to be moved around. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy

  10. We have feeders up and have seen hummers a few times. But we think they flew off south a bit to escape the cold nights we've had lately. They should be back in a couple days.

  11. I think I can practically see y'all drooling, too. I could sit in my window for hours on end watching all those feathered foods- I mean friends- out back.
