Well, looking at this, I guess I can say that at least I'm not the pea/boy king.
Mommy used to call Ralphie Sweet Pea, and Grampa Norton Poodin Pop, so 'acause they are at the Bridge now, she cannot call us those names. I don't fink she has settled on any names for us, most of them just make no sense at all. 'Cept for Princess, which she calls Trixie
ReplyDeleteMy Auntie has a cat named Gracie, only they've never called her that. They call her Zig. When they moved to California from Michigan and got a new vet, they decided they might as well tell the new vet her name is Zig, so not to confuse them.
ReplyDeleteNo one ever asks Gracie/Zig what she would prefer to be called!
We were Sweet Peas too sometimes... Mostly though, that's Georgia. Her other cat was Sweet Potato. And then there was Pumpkin Pie. I wonder why she's always talkin about food?
ReplyDeleteI think it's funny that your human pet accents the last syllable in your name when she is upset with you. Mine tries to do that, but since I don't have a second syllable, the U just becomes extended. Zeuuuuuuuuuus!
ReplyDeleteAll those names and they wonder why we don't come right away when they call for us...

Hmm. Sounds like your mom has a thing for peas.
ReplyDeleteMy new nickname seems to be skutchie, whatever that means.
