What A Disappointment.

It was cloudy here during the eclipse. CLOUDY. Plus, the coverage was so puny that it didn't even get remotely dark enough to start milling around for early dinner.

I am never going to fall for this eclipse business again.

On the other paw, what wasn't a disappointment is an award that Johnny and Beau from Pets Overload gave us some weeks ago. Thanks for thinking of us, boys! (And we're sorry it took so long for us to post about this. You can blame our mom -- she is a turtle.)

If you haven't visited this fun and newsy blog, do it now!

  5. My human missed getting to see or take photos of the eclipse because a) she didn't think about buying glasses until everyone was sold out, and 2) she had to take her car in for new tires and the eclipse happened here when she was walking back home. Maybe 2024 will be better.

  7. Our human saw a total eclipse many years ago in Germany. She thinks it was maybe 2001 or so - unbelievable that she's already lived back then!

Well. She says it was kind of boring to wait for the eclipse to happen. The only good thing was that school finished early that day so that everybody could see the BIG BORING happening, hehe.

  9. Me and Mom had a great eclipse. We just stood (well, mom did) in the front yard with the glasses. Oh man, it was so nice. Seeing the lights come on up and down the street was cool too. Mommy put in some pics of what the inside of the house looked like to me..left Allllllll alone!

  10. Oh Ivan! Cats are way too advanced mentally and psychologically to bother with such trivial thing as a moon shadow, and let's face it...cats are from outer space anyhow. You all have seen things much more exciting that one silly solar eclipse! And the image of your mom as a turtle made me giggle

  15. We had some clouds that wanted to ruin it...but the mom did get to see some of the eclipse...the 80% that we got. We slept through it.

  16. Concats on the award. We are so sorry you didn't see the eclipse. We were at 90 %. It didn't really get any darker than a cloudy day, but the crickets started chirping and making a racket. That was weird. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
