Here's our resident roadrunner after a visit. He's been coming by every day and announces his presence by clacking his beak. (And yes, this was the sound our silly mom was trying to imitate the other day. Can you imagine?)
But the really fun news? He has a companion! We saw them across the road.
Of course, Mom was too slow on the draw to catch a photo of the pair, so we've improvised to illustrate.
Pretty clever of us, right?
I think it's cool that these guys come around your house!
ReplyDeleteHow good that the roadrunner has a pal :)
ReplyDeleteWe think the bird looks really cool, especially the tail.
Thanks for showing us what they look like :)

ReplyDeleteSo cool!! We don't have roundruners in Canada!
ReplyDeleteMeep, Meep! Whoosh...!
ReplyDeleteWow! We thought that Mom scared them away the other day, but we're happy that they're returning in double-capacity.
ReplyDeleteNow, if this continues, you'll have four next time. That'd be one for each of you - sounds like a great feast ahead!!
Kitties! You sure know how to improvise! My mom is soooo jellus! She wants to see them and hear them. She nows they don't go beep beep though that may be good...especially if they pass by at night! LOVE this.
ReplyDeleteDo you kitties make that wonderful chattering sound that cats LURV to do when watching Bird TV?
ReplyDeleteOur humans and us have not seen a roadrunner except in the cartoons.
