This is where my mom keeps laundry stuff, in this big basket on a shelf above the washer and dryer. The basket was a happy basket, peacefully sitting there ever since we moved here.
Well, someone decided to attempt a jump into the happy basket. Detergent, pre-treat stuff, dryer sheets and the iron went flying. You can see what happened when the iron went flying nose down.
This teeny tiny boy actually thinks playing the cute card will get him off the hook, despite all evidence that it was his antics that brought unhappiness to the happy basket and the pandemonium of flying laundry products. And the cracked iron. And the dent in the washer.
All I can say is I never dented a major appliance in my whole life. I may be WMD but I'm not dumb.
I think that is pretty amazing, to cause all that havoc with one leap!
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why the basket was waayyyyy up there. Surely it needed to be moved.
ReplyDeleteWell, William, the kitties are all taking your side. Tinker feels since there were no eyewitnesses to the laundry room carnage, you are innocent and your involvement pure hearsay.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, that isn't good. But hey, if it works OK, who cares if it has a scratch. Mum actually has bought stuff from the scratch and dent section. They work just fine.
ReplyDeleteI need to blog just so I can see you guys. So cute.
ReplyDeleteOne time, Riley, my orange boy with lots of toes, jumped in the cabinet where I keep glasses. I was unloading the dishwasher. You can just imagine what happened. Cat in cabinet. Glasses not. A total mess.
I'm betting that the Cute Card *WILL* get him off the hook. Any takers? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
ReplyDeleteWow! We're with Summer on this one - a very efficient jump! Don't humans love efficiency and time-saving methods? So we think they should adore him!
ReplyDeleteBut doesn't your mum know that baskets are meant for cats???
ReplyDeleteThat's an impressive amount of chaos all in one jump!
ReplyDeleteSighs. The cute always wins!
ReplyDeleteThe cute card is always a free pass! MOL [Abuse it at all times MOL]

Essa cara de culpado é muito fofa, acho que sua mamãe já te perdoou. hehehe
ReplyDeleteFico contente que ninguém foi atingido, seria horrível!
William, guess you'd better have a chat with those crazy baby bros of yours!
ReplyDeleteWilliam, I'm glad you weren't the crazy laundry basket culprit. I'm also glad nothing but the appliances got hurt.
ReplyDeleteTeeny tiny boys are apt to do things like that. Happy baskets are very tempting to teeny tiny boys. And yes, cuteness wins out every time. Hopefully, the dent won't affect the washer's workings.
