From Bliss To Hiss.

If we had the energy to hiss, that is. After a lovely May, it got suddenly hot hot hot. And as with a lot of other people made complacent by the springlike weather in our fair city, we missed the evaporative cooler switchover boat. It will be eons! before we get anyone here to take care of that obnoxious thing.

We will be fossils! before we get cool again.

  1. Sorry yo hear you are dealing with the hots!
After a week of nice Spring weather, Mr Cold and Rain have returned.
Instead of our 22C and up temps, today was a wet 7C :(
Can we make a bit of a trade?
    Sending you all cool thoughts.

  2. It sure is extra hard to deal with the hots when you are a furry creature. Best of luck to you all. It has turned a mite cooler, here in the Northeast.

  4. And if you have evaporative cooling, then it must be horribly hot where you are. William, all of you including your mom and dad, I hope you aren't dried desiccated fossils indeed before they get there.

  5. We went straight from not-summer to the hot weather. It sounds like spring isn't lingering for anyone this year!

  6. Mum recommends ice water with a fan blowing over it. We are coolish again. Can we send you some cool air for warm?

  10. Yeah, we went from 60 to 85 to 90 in one week here and its not likely ta change much except just before it rains fer a whole hard day and that's not good either. Well, OK, TBT likes the rain but WE dont.

  11. We had a good May too but now it has gone the other way and is cold, wet and windy. I will send you some rain if you will send me some hots. (Not too much, we're not used to it here).
