Pouting.

I wanted to go to the parade today but my mom said I was too little.

So I guess I'll honor our veterans by just saying Thank You all.

And posting this photo of my mom's dad, the flyboy.

  1. Other than cheering on the veterans, you didn't miss much with the parade. I always hate the sirens--too NOISY!

  4. Well Izzy, there would be SO many people that staying home is safer.
Mom went to a Remembrance Day service and there were lots of people!
Your Mom's dad looks very dashing indeed ;)

  5. Parades usually aren't kitty friendly so it's a good idea that you stayed home and expressed your gratitude from your perch. That's a great photo of your mom's dad.

  6. Parades are overrated. What a handsome young man your Mom's Dad was.

  7. You would have been too short to see much at the parade anyhow, Izzy. Better to stay home and let your Mom spoil you.

  8. Izzy, I really think that your momma didn't want you to go because someone would see you and SQUEEEE! and they'd take you to live with them and it would break her heart. Nice photo of the 'flyboy'...I don't think I have any pics of my dad in his uniform (WWII too).
