Not Caroline.

Elliott here!

This was not planned, but I just realized that it was a year ago today that I had to go live at the shelter. I'm so glad that I'm not there anymore but here.

That Caroline is quite the pip, though.

  1. A pip, huh? We might use other words, as we did about our angel Annie. LOL.

We're mighty glad you're not at the shelter anymore too!

  5. Elliott, you've been through a lot in this past year, haven't you? We're so glad that you found a new family to love you after losing your previous one. (Okay, *love* might be strong for Caroline, but we're sure that William and your Mom love you, at least. And maybe Caroline will be less grouchy to you over time.)

  8. Hey! Elliott--look, Buddy, I'm really glad you got outta that shelter and it's not that I am not glad to see you. BUT look Pal, it's WEDNESDAY and you better know what WEDNESDAY means around here: Yeah, that's right. It means SCREAMOLINE. And don't you forget it. Just sayin'.

    1. That has nuffing to do with it. Do you think CAROLINE is some zero-sum game where if you decide to give her your day you can just TAKE hers, willy-nilly??? Because really, when I come here on a Wednesday, I am all primed to see my LCG, not some ho-hum boycat who looks just like me. You have set up certain EXPECTATIONS here at William of Mass Destruction, and your loyal readership has come to expect a certain consistency.

  12. Further to Alice: We know, it could be hyper-t, CRF, etc. And the reason for her matted fur could be just that she won't let them remove the mats, we get that. I think my coworker did the right thing, frankly. She HAD taken Alice to her own vet while she had her, though I don't know what they said about her condition. I do know that Alice didn't have enough fat on her body to even be able to draw a blood sample.

Anyway, whatever happens, I hope it will be for Alice's Highest Good.

Thanks for commenting. It's a tricky situation, but I think I'd have done the same, with a cat in that poor condition.
