Thursday Wrap-Up.

Tins in the wind
All they are is tins in the wind...

How's that for a blast-from-the-past earworm? Ha ha ha ha!

Actually, we had to take the flying cake tins down this week because of the high winds we were getting. But even without them, the pigeons seem to have gotten the message to avoid our balcony. Actually, I think they just went and built homes up on the roof, because I can hear them talking up around the skylight! I'm glad we don't have to go up there--yikes, what a mess I bet that is!

So here we are again in another fuzzy photo, Elliott on the left and me on the right. I so think we need a new photographer!

Well, it's almost time for dinner. Here's to a weekend without scary winds. We hope you all are safe too, wherever you are!

  1. William, Elliott, Caroline, care to come over Mother's Day weekend or at least a few hours?

  3. We are safe for now out here on the West Coast... and worried about so many of our pals on the East Coast!

  4. William, you and Elliott look fantastic together! I think you two could double-team those old pigeons.

  5. Those pigeons wouldn't have stood a chance on the balcony if you could have gotten out there to them. Hopefully someone else is going to clean up after them up on the roof!

  7. We are glad the tins in the wind werked good on the pigeons. Now, what about Evil Skwerls? Tubas?

  8. Yeah, thanks for the ear worm. (We like Spitty's version, btw.)

We'll trade you our nasty squirrel for some pigeons.

  9. So sorry it's windy. We've had really nice weather this week. Going to start to rain tonight though. Cats have all been napping in a sun spot. Meredith got to go out back on her leash and nap on the table.

  11. Hope you boys are having a good weekend. We wonder if Elliott and Screamoline have come to an "understanding" yet? I suppose it's too much to hope for that you kids could become the Three Musketeers?

  12. We had a beautiful weekend, but are facing near-record highs today. Which I guess is still better than friends up in Michigan who had snow.

I'm glad to see you two are getting along so well.

  13. Either mom needs a new camera (hint hint mother's day is coming) or black cats are just to fast and sleek to photograph!
