Memorial Day.

"Sacrifice is meaningless without remembrance. America's collective consciousness demands that all citizens recall and be aware of the deaths of their fellow countrymen during wartime."

  4. A lovely post, William. Today the Human remembers especially her godfather, her Uncle Dick, who was MIA in Korea; his remains were never found. She was only two when he went missing so she only knows him through her mom and other family. He left a young widow and baby girl he never got to meet. Wars are terrible things and we hope someday Humans find other ways to resolve their differences. XOXOXO
