Fat Tuesday.

Laissez les bons chats rouler! It's Mardi Gras!

I don't think Elliott's ever celebrated Mardi Gras before. He wasn't too sure what to make out of the beads.

He's on the left in both these pics. You can tell us apart because his tail is way thinner and longer than mine. Oh, and I guess he is a bit slimmer than I am.

My mom says I might as well really live it up this Fat Tuesday. I had to go to the cat fix-it place for my annual exam today and I guess I've put on some weight again. Which means, after king cake tonight...another stupid diet begins tomorrow!

  5. Aw crud. We went through that yesterday with Hobbes. He's been on a diet since January...we thought he lost weight... the doctor told us he's 2 pounds heavier than last year. :( Not good. I hope you have better news.

  12. Huh. Your Mom is just screwin' with our heads with all this, isn't she? I mean, couldn't she bleach a little E on the new kid's head? Or shave one on his belly? I just don't know what to make of it. The only kitteh I can be sure of is you-know-who.

  13. I am in a swoon over you two black kitties, William and Elliott! Glad you mentioned the difference in tails, otherwise I can't tell you apart. Don't worry about the cat-fix-it-place, William...the people there really want to HELP you and your mom, because they want to to live long and prosper too. But we know it's scary; even a great mancat like yourself can be a little nervous.
