Thank You.

Thank you all for your kind condolences about Russell. We are always amazed at the outpouring of love and care our little community shows at times of sorrow and loss.

Another of our good friends, Tillie of Mickey's Musings, has left for the Bridge. We know she is in the company of her bro Mickey now, but her sister Georgia, her mom and her family really miss her. Please visit if you can.

I guess I'm getting used to being Russell-less. It's just not all that much fun playing by myself or having no one to share bath time with. My mom's OK with playing and stuff, but she kind of fails at any grooming beyond brushing. And Caroline is simply untrainable.

Anyway, to honor my bro, tomorrow at Feline o' Mine we're going to be featuring one of his favorite toys on sale. We also have a few new things, too, so if you haven't done all your Catmas shopping yet, check it out!

  4. Thank you William for your kind words and thoughts about Tillie.
Thank your Mom too and Caroline. We know you understand all too well the loss we feel. We are sorry that you have twice the loss. That is even harder to bear. Both Gracie and Russell were way,way too young!
We ,and you, will have to adjust to the new order of things. We do not have to like it,and we don't!
We are just happy this blogging community is so thoughtful and kind.
Purrs and headbumps to you all and thank you for your kindness too.

  8. Well, William, your Mom has a tongue doesn't she? I don't see why she couldn't give you a little baff now and then. Right?

The Human will be checking out Feline'o'Mine for a few CatMas gifts.

I'm still purring for you, Bro. Maybe you can teach Screamoline a thing or two?

  14. William, there is a stray cat in our neighborhood; he's orange and white. I've only seen him a few times, but he's very playful and friendly. Maybe he belongs to someone, but he's not neutered (ahem!) and therefore In your brother's honor, I've named this now-you-see-him-now-you-don't cat Russell. I will TNR him if he starts hanging around with my other feral cats, but I wanted you to know that I am thinking of you and your family,

  18. Dear Sweet William ~ I've seen the sadness that one gets after their best friend leaves them. When Sabrina past away, Maddy Jean was so sad. That why we got her a friend, Jodie Belle. I do hope that Caroline maybe decides to be your new best friend.

Anyway, I just wanted you and your family to know that I am thinking of them and hoping the sad memories soon turn into the ones that make you laugh at how silly or cute he was.

Many pets to you and Caroline,
And, tell Mom that I got home today.
    Everything went fine.

    xo,
    JC
