Tuesdays With Russell, For Flynn.

We and all our cat pals are just heartbroken over the loss of Eric. I can't imagine what losing my bro would be like, but I know this.

Flynn, I know that you'll miss him forever and that it will be very hard to be without him. Your loneliness will seem endless, but remember, Eric will be watching over you until the day comes when you are together again. And your feeling of loss will lessen just a bit every day. So take care, my friend, and smile up at the sky when you roll in the grass.

Me looking at a post from Flynn, checking out this look-alike business

  5. Wonderfully stated. We will miss Eric so much. We are a bit worried for his brofur, though. To be together so long and now apart, that will be very hard.

  7. Yeah, Flynn has lost his Littermate and brofur, he has to be furry sad too.

Yeah, when we see the cheshire moon, we think of our furiends at The Bridge.

  8. When the Human had her two Big Boys Mr. Teeth & Clarkie, she worried about Clarkie when Mr. Teeth had to leave for the Bridge. Clarkie was sad for a week or so, but pretty soon he stepped right up to the plate as the only ManCat of the House and he became much more bonded to the Human, whereas before he had worshipped Mr. Teeth.

It was hard at first, but Clarkie was eventually fine as we are sure Flynn will be also. If Clarkie had stayed sad, The Human says she prolly would've gotten him a new brofur, but he got kind of set in his ways as the Only Child ;-)

We didn't know Eric too well, but we can see he had a HUGE impact in the Blogosphere and his departure has left a giant hole. We think prolly Olivia was there to meet him, along with Princess and all the others, too. XOXOXOXO

  10. Ya, dood, it's hard at first, but pretty soon you remember that you'll see your bro kitty--or in my case, my dog Hank--and it feels better. It really does.

  13. Such a sweet sentiment. And Russell looks like he could be a cousin to Eric and Flynn. (Be careful Russell, your sisters may try to ship you over there to keep Flynn company.)
