Well, for some reason or other, a bunch of tardy types were setting off fireworks last night, after days of quiet! Maybe they were away on holiday on the holiday, but in any case, THAT'S IT, PEOPLE. Do not make me send Kangaroo Girl out there to bite you, because I will and she will.
Anyway, today Caroline and I are enjoying a bit of relaxation in the cloudshine.
And tonight I'm going to try to get my mom to give me a bite of her fishie dinner. I'll have to be all stealthy because I don't want anyone else getting the idea they can have any.
We hope you get some fishie dinner, and we hope even more that those silly people with the fireworks decide that enough is enough.
ReplyDeletewe agree - enough of the banging already.....
ReplyDeleteand did you say fishie?? last time mom had some, she and Tim did the hand smackies.
I think that is an excellent plan...
ReplyDeleteNot tardy--RETARDY!
ReplyDeleteIf we may be so non-PC.
We'll come over and help put the bitey on those people! But, we might like a bite of fishie dinner fur helpin out. MOL!
ReplyDeleteHope you and Caroline didn't get cloudburned. Fishie dinner sounds yum.
ReplyDeleteHope some of that fishie came your way.
ReplyDeleteWe have horrid neighbors who set fireworks off at least 3 times a week at 10 pm all summer long. AND they save some for winter and do it then too.
The boomies tend to go off all year here, but especially during the summer. Of course, we've also had some pretty loud thunder lately, too.
ReplyDeleteOh Fish! All my peoples had was salad. Me hates salad! Green stuff is for the animals me eats!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!

Binga's the thief in our family. I always ask for things nicely. Well, when I'm not whapping someone because I am not getting it fast enough.
ReplyDeleteOh!!! Unexpected Bonus Caroline! I'm a little stunned--give me a moment.
ReplyDeleteThere. Okay. Whew. Is it hot in here?
Hope you got your special only-for-William fishies. No one else really deserves any, since you do all the work and snoopervising around there. Well, I guess you could give Caroline just a teeny taste.
I will send Oja over if Caroline needs any help. Oja's a little terror. I hope you got some fishie bites, William. Mom is eating pot roast these days and the only one of us who likes that is Oja.

we reckon 'stealth' is your middle name! Love Helen, Darcy, and Bingley xxx
ReplyDeleteWe've still got those late fireworks people around here... They start in early June and don't seem to end til late July.. sigh
ReplyDeleteGood luck on the fishie dinner!
