Thursday Wrap-Up.

Well, my mom finally raised the food ceiling today and certain disaster was averted, and just in time. We were down to our last sixteen morsels, so everybody was quite relieved to see her lugging a 17.5-pound bag of SciDi up the stairs this evening. I guess this last-minute business was to divert us from getting jealous over her flirting with random adoptable cats at PetSmart, which she always does (and we always know). I don't get why she can't figure out that we are not fooled.

So this weekend I refuse to snoopervise Mom's continuing arrangement of crap stuff in the garage. She is planning to put up shelving on Saturday, specifically for all our troll boxes, known and unknown. I think all that stuff should remain buried behind the seven thousand other things down there. (But I guess it's a good thing that she finally unpacked the last moving box last weekend. And all our toys and fun things have always been safe. Now, if only I could get her to let me have at some cardboard...)

Anyway, have a relaxing couple of days, everyone! Try to stay cool!

  5. *I* made the beauteous Caroline CRY??? I certainly hope it was because I told her she was always beautiful and not because I ran off--temporarily--without her to BoraBora! I'll teleport back & pick her up if she's game!

Have a pawsome weekend--I'm SO relieved your Mom bought your food! Whew--disaster averted!

  7. Why these hoomans allow things to get down to the wire in raising ceilings of any sort, I don't know. Thank goodness she didn't go PAST the deadline.

  8. Whoa, disaster averted...barely! We're thankful our mom always keeps the "pantry" well stocked with our food!

Nicki can't understand why you don't have any of that cardboard--it's so good to "eat!"

  10. We have had that problem before and it is pretty scary. We agree with the no snoopervising - just take a nap!!

  11. That is a major relief. I can't imagine how stressed that must have made you.

  12. Hopefully you'll get some cardboard boxes. It's not fair to have all of them around you and not have the opportunity to play in one.

  15. It's never good to run out of food, so it's a good thing your mom brought more home. We don't get why Mom's have to stop off and play with all the kitties at Petsmart or Pet Co.

  18. I tells you what; That Woman is always flirting with those cats at the PetSmart too. We make it a point to patently ignore her for several hours afterward.

You is lucky you lasted through the sixteen morsels. That was a close call!
