Thursday Wrap-Up.

I think we're all ready for this week to end. I mean, even when Russell yakked up everybody's dinner that he'd just wolfed down, he was thoughtful enough to use an empty bowl. Minimum cleanup for Mom! Minimum viewing for the rest of us! More time to get down to the business of snuggling and napping.

Last night we finished watching all six seasons of Lost. (We got Mom the DVD set for her birthday a few months ago so she wouldn't have to watch it on the computer–that is, without us.) I think I want to start all over again, because it sure was fun snuggling on Mom all that time–even when the sad parts made her drip on me.

Oh, and many of you were wondering why I had Tammy Faye on our altar. I let Mom do that. She dressed up as Tammy on Halloween, but in the course of doing research realized that she didn't really know anything real about the woman. Well, two books later, Mom decided Tammy should be honored, not ridiculed. So I said OK. And you probably couldn't see very well in the picture, but we added little star sequins and crystal beads all around her, too. That was my idea. I think Tammy would have liked that. I did forget the eyelashes, though. I think she would have really liked that!

Well, everyone, have a great weekend! Don't forget to remind your moms and dads to turn back their clocks. (Remember, this is the one where dinner is suddenly late, so prepare yourselves!)

  1. Tammy Faye was awesome. She didn't just talk the talk, she walked the walk--gently and compassionately. It's too bad she got sucked up by the vortex of Jim Bakker's ego...

But dood ya know she LOVED those eyelashes... :)

  2. Mum wishes I would yak into a bowl, or maybe on the throw rug, or even better on a part of the newsy paper she has already read. Thanks for the update on Tammy Faye, like Max said, she sorta got the bad side of her hubby.

  4. You know what? If your mom has not seen it, my Human thinks she would like the documentary called "The Eyes of Tammy Faye." The Human went to see it expecting to mock her, but she ended up really, really liking her. It's a great little movie.

Have a wonderful weekend, friends! (And, Russell-Pretzel? Be nice to Caroline.)

  5. Yep, we second what Spitty says. "The Eyes of Tammy Faye" is a great documentary and we enjoyed it very much. You can get it through Netflix if you have that. Have a great weekend friends!

  6. Yeah, I was wondering about Tammy Faye too! My human will have to check out that DVD.

I think I will forget to remind my human about the end of Daylight Savings Time. I would prefer having my dinner on time, not an hour later.

  7. Mom wishes we'd yak into a bowl too. No, it's gotta be the builder's-beige carpet (what's left of it).

  10. We've heard only very little about Tammy Faye. The Woman will have to look her up.

  11. Too bad that the season of the suddenly late dinner is upon us again. Plus, the early darkness in the afternoon. At least, the extra snuggly time makes up for that.

    Have a good weekend.

  12. WAIT A SECOND! Dinner is going to be LATE?!!!!!!! This will really mess with my schedule. To whom should we direct our complaints?

  13. William: Because she had what **she** thinks is a funny idea, my Human would like to use a little picture of you on my blog (a small version of your May 24th picture). Because she's still pretty new to this blogging stuff, she's not sure if that's a cool thing to do or not. Could you leave her a comment and let her know if that would be okay with you?

  14. William, you look very ready for the weekend! I yak up my dinner all the time. I love to eat a bunch of food then drink a bunch of water - yak-o-rama! But I never yak in a plate. And I don't go back and eat it either!

Enjoy your warm heater - I know I will!

    Your friend, Zoe
