El Día de los Muertos.

Happy Day of the Dead, everyone! This is the day we like to honor and celebrate those who have gone before us. On our ofrenda there's food and toys and stuff for their spirits as they come back to earth on this special day.

I hope they have fun when they visit. I'll be waiting!

  1. Happy Dia de Los Muertos to y'all too! We don't get that way up here...but, when we were in TX and in NM, we heard of it.

  2. Mommy has a special shelf for our ashes and photos...we like that we'll never really leave our Mommy. A day of remembrance is excellent cuz too many people don't stop to recall those who have gone before.

  3. My Human says they have a large Dia de los Muertos altar at her school and this morning she put a picture of her parents on it! There are lots of other pictures of family members of students and teachers, and there's even a woofie. She thinks she might put a nice picture of Mr. Teeth and Clarkie there tomorrow so there will be kittehs also. I think it's a very nice idea but I'm glad MY picture is not on one of those tables, let me tell you!

  4. Your alter ROCKS! Tammy Faye?! We loved her. (have you ever seen the documentary "The Eyes of Tammy Faye"? It's great. Thanks for a terrific post.

  6. Happy Day of the Dead. Dad usually wears a skeletons playing sports tie but he forgot. Funny how it lines up with election day...
