Meezer Wednesday.

It's me, Caroline!

We ran out of dry food today! Ran completely out! And see? I'm practically just bones!

OK, maybe we didn't run completely out. We had a bag of emergency food on hand–Goodlife Recipe–and we got that today.

Actually, it's pretty good. So, never mind.

  1. I think you should get an extra portion tomorrow anyway, just for having to endure the fright of a possible shortage.

  2. How can your Mom allow such a thing to happen? Having to go to the emergency backup is horrendous. What if she forgot to go and get an extra emergency backup too? I agree with Spitty-the-kitty.

PS - lovely photo of you, even if you are just bones practically! ;)

  4. Oh Caroline No! (ha ha, that's a Beach Boys song)

We hope your parents get to the store for some food for you and William soon.

  5. Sometimes you need to eat up the emergency food so it won't get old. You look awfully sweet Caroline! Bet you always hear that :).

  6. Emergency rations? Wow, the food did get low. But at least you have yummy emergency rations, right?

  7. Oh dear, Caroline, we were terrified for you just for a moment. Thankfully your human staff keeps an emergency stash of food, just for occasions like this.

  8. Oh man, don't DO that to me! I almost had a coronary. Or maybe it was just gas. But still...

  9. Having to consume the emergency food, poor Caroline. Just for that, you'll need a few early breakfasts (1:30 am) for reassurance purposes. About three weeks worth should suffice.

  10. I know how horrible that can be. Our food bowl went empty the other night too. What's up with these beans?

  11. What a scare! You should thank your mom for having that emergency supply. I know how much you prefer dry kitty kibble to that wet stuff that Russell scarfs down.

  15. How can humans get so careless and absent minded? They'd never let themselves run out of pizza do they? (At least ours wouldn't!)

  16. Mewmie always keeps something on hand in case we run out of the "boutique" food, as she calls it...
