He Started It.

So the little redheaded terror was acting out this morning, making my sister screech and scream, which made my mom kinda cross. While she was scolding him or squirting him with the dreaded water bottle, I decided to just stay out of the way. Well, when she was getting ready to leave and she did the usual cat check, she couldn't find me and she called and looked and called and looked and finally gave up and said, "Well, William, if you're trapped somewhere, too bad, because I won't be home for hours." I thought that was a bit unnecessary, especially since I was right in sight all along, curled up in the little basket by the heat register, minding my own P's and Q's. Then, you know what? She saw me at the last minute and got all cross with me!

Moms. Brothers!

  1. It's never their fault. They always have to blame us. -sigh-

  5. I think it is unfair of her to be cross with you when you were being such a good cat!

  6. Oh goodness! You are like the 4th cat we've read about this morning whose mom couldn't find him before work! Derby, Miles Meezer & a couple others! What was it about yesterday that caused this epidemic?

  8. Poor William, minding your P's and Q's. We hope you got treats for being a good kit.

  9. I know what you mean...I'll just be minding my own business napping in the closet or in a box, and mom will call and call and call for me. And then when she finds me, I get in trouble for being such a hider. Moms!

Sorry you got in trouble for minding your P's and Q's.

  11. Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em. (Talking about humans and brothers alike.)

Still, it would only be fair to hear Russell's side of the story...

  12. Yeah, there are two posters with me on it at our house, but mom hasn't put up the other one yet. Brothers are a pain. Have a good day!

  13. Sounds like your Mom wasn't having a good day William. You didn't sound like you were doing anything wrong to me.
