Determination.

I showed you this cat last fall. It comes into our yard any old time and lounges on my patio eyeballing my bird buds and strolls along the top of our back wall like it owns the place.

Well, last night Caroline was in the window when suddenly she developed EPU RTS (Extra Puffed Up Restless Tail Syndrome). She practically broke the window with all that tail action! Mom got up to see what the problem was, and do you know what? That alien cat was right on the brick ledge under the window. That's about four and a half feet off the ground, that great big giant cat on a skinny brick width!

Mom made it go away and it was ages before Caroline returned to normal size. I'm thinking that cat wouldn't be all up in Caroline's face if it had to live with her!

  1. I have been wondering the name of the condition I often suffer due to my new brother. I know now it is EPU RTS. Thank you William. You have answered one of my many questions.

  2. awww, that white cat looks pretty! Kinda looks like me, but with longer fur.

Anyways, if Caroline doesn't like it, would she like me to come and kick its....??

  3. Actually, I suffered with EPU RTS last evening, but I think it was just a one-time thing. EPU RTS due to PTSD after my bath.

That's a pretty white cat, though.

  4. I would be very upset if a kitty was on my territory!

  6. We didn't know poofy tails had such a scientific name. Thank you for teaching us about it.

  7. Good job Caroline defending your turf. Our friend's cat Hokie got stuck in a hallway with some dogs and his Extra Puffed Up tail never un-puffed.

  9. wow! Caroline is tougher than I thought. I wouldn't be messing with her that is for sure! Course, you're her brother so it is your job to mess with her.

  10. EPU RTS can come in handy in these situations. It alerts the humans to check things out. I have not had EPU RTS in a long time. (Thankd goodness!)
I hope that the white cat has a home.

  11. Good werk, Caroline!

We have a little black kitty that comes and sits under the bush near our squirrel feeder - mom thinks he's furry cute, but she (very gently) chases him away.
