Quiet Time.

Things are getting back to normal, slowly but surely. Mom let us stay with her all Friday night, which is very rare (something about us hogging the bed). We were all toasty with the electric blanket and slept like babies...except for Mom, who for some reason couldn't move all night. We had fun snuggling and keeping her company until Kangaroo Girl ruined it for all of us at the crack of dawn by using the box spring as a scratching post. That woke Mom up and then we all got up and that was that.

But Mom stayed home all day on Saturday and between naps she and I worked on my mosaic. I changed my mind about what I wanted about nine times so we chipped off some tiles we'd already set and did some other things. I'm getting re-excited about this now. We might even have all the tiles set this week and then I can grout! I can't wait to get my tiny toes into that.

  1. We are glad things are getting back to normal. We knows you have heavy hearts, and we will continue to think of you. Huggling with Mom is the best thing you can do.

Hope to see some pichers of your mosaic.

  2. Hi, Wm. You're making this mosaic thing sound like fun! I think my toes are too big, though.

  3. A mosaic sounds like more fun than the knitting and sewing my mom does. Although I quite enjoy running off with the yarn.

Fiona - I'm often kicked out of the bedroom at night, something about hopping on DKM at 2:30 am...

Think of this now as a new normal. It won't be quite the same, but it will still be good.

Boo was kicked out of the bedroom because Mom woke up...poor Boo.

We will continue to keep you and your Mom in our daily purrayers.

By the way, if your mommy could email her mailing address to us, we'd like to send her something special in Eddie's memory.
