The Ordeal.

So Friday evening Mom got out the troll box. I knew I was going to the cat fix-it place but I got into it right away because I kinda like it. Plus, it freaks my sisters out to see me in there and that's always kinda fun. Anyway, off Mom and I went. It was awful! This is me all flattened after they took all my blood.

OK, so maybe they didn't take all my blood. But they probably took about a gallon. And maybe for once I'd just like to visit my doctor and not be poked and stabbed and stuff. Because I like her a lot and like it when she tells me what a handsome boy I am.

Well, anyway, the reason why I had to have the blood test is that my white count had been a little low. We found this out in my pre-dental exam and then I was tested again when I had my teeth cleaned. After that I got to fling that icky bubblegum swill all over the walls and Mom until I finally wore her down and she stopped trying to force it on me. I guess the one drop I mistakenly swallowed had an effect, because today my doctor called us and let Mom know that everything is good.

I could have told her that!

  1. Glad your count is better. I am surprised that they took a GALLON of blood to do a test. Man I don't want to have that happen to me.

  2. I nefur knew if they took all that blood you would get flat like that. I hope you round back out again William, although being flat does have an advantage if you are hiding out. So glad everything is OK, though! I am sure your Momma, if she is like mine, was real worriet.

  3. Wm, I'm totally without on those white-coat vampires. I, too, often have had such creatures fall upon me and take the very lifeblood out of me. Worse, they've even taken me to a dark room where they take my picture with a magic camera that makes everything but my bones disappear. It's really quite frightening. It's only because I am a STRONG-WILLED tuxedo that i am able to make my gorgeous body reappear, in defiance of their evil plans.

Carry on, dear Wm, and fight the good fight.

  5. Yuck...I hate that pink bubble gum stuff. Good work flinging it all over the walls. It ususally just goes all over my face when I have to take it. Then mom says I "look pretty in pink" Glad you're o.k. William.

  14. Sorry you had to go to the vet. At least you didn't make it easy for them. Eddie is in my prayers. It's not easy being a senior kitty. He needs lots of love and attention from you and your mom.

  15. Oh No William! A gallon of blood. Does your mommy know that it takes 3 cans of stinky goodness to make up for the flatness and get your fluffy-ness back? 3 cans. I'm glad your blood count is OK. I'm getting my teeth done on the 28th. Yuck. We're keeping Eddie in our prayers.
Oh I just thought of something! You can eat your 3 cans of stinky goodness is while you watch the 2 wonderful hours of 24 tonight.

  16. William, I am so glad you survived the ordeal. You had better eat lots so that you aren't too flat. I am glad the v-e-t said everything is OK.
