Still Life.

Even though we no longer have the ugly bar, there's still plenty of room to sit. Mom hasn't decided what to do with this yet, so it's still unfinished from the renovation. I want to do a tile mosaic on it. Or maybe I really just want to play with a whole bunch of little tile bits. What do you think?

  1. William, we have one of those short walls by the front door. I like to sit there and wait when mum gets home. It is a nice place to sit and watch for most anything.

It looks nice just as is. But you can be creative too.

  3. A tile mosaic would be nice, but it really looks fine just the way it is. Olivia looks great sitting there.

  4. Mom wants to put tiles up on our kitchen backsplash but I think tiles on the counter would be better. I bet they'd be real cool to lay against.

  6. Wow William! You have worked so hard! I agree the color is perfect for your gorgeous panther coloring. Kangaroo Girl looks like she enjoys her roosters! Poor Eddie, I hope he gets used to the slippery soon.
You all need to take loooooooonng deep naps that you send through the air to your Mommy while she is hunting. When my mommy leaves to hunt and gather, she asks me to nap for her around 3pm so she can "get thru the afternoon." It seems to work because she stays gone all day!
Oh! We just realized yesterday that Daylight Savings Time starts really early this year! March 11 !!! Lotsa extra bird watching time!
Take care and stay warm all!

PS your mommy kicks booty doing this herself (and plumbing!) It looks great!!!! My mommy takes classes at Home Depot to learn this stuff too!

  7. My vote goes to playing. You can tell the furless ones what you want, but they never listen anyway.

Where is the kangaroo hiding? I don't see any sign of it.

  8. I think mosaic tiles would be hard on the cat rumpus. Think of your booty, Squilliam! Smooth surfaces are so much better!

  9. Why don't you line it with sheepskin? That would be great!

  10. A tile mosaic would definitely be more "cat proof".

  11. Oh, Mommy had to go before she could help my type "24 is the greatest show ever!" No one else comments on it so we must be the only kitties who watch it. I'd like to think I would be as cool under pressure as Jack is, but to many people have seen me on a trip to the vet....
I think your mommy made an interesting observation about the "nephew." What a great twist that would be. My mommy thinks you may be right and so do I!

  12. Oh, William, when I last asked you about what your Mom had done with this area, and you said you wanted to do a mosaic, I though you meant scratching it with your claws in a random pattern! I think it looks very nice as it is. But your Mom has made the rest of the kitche look great with your help, so I am sure anything you would do would be pretty.

  13. The 'roo girl is looking mighty fine up there with her roosters, William.

This is of course tribute to your hard work and excellent taste. You keep the women in your life looking in top form.

You deserve a good long nap, lots on snuggles and treats.
