Aftermath.

I was tricked at the cat fix-it place tonight. And I was so good on the way there! Mom had stacked us in the front seat next to her and I had the top troll box and got to see lots of Christmas lights while Kangaroo Girl cried all the way like a great big baby (told you). Once there, she went first and got shot twice.

Then it was my turn. I was only supposed to be shot once. But then – then – my formerly favorite vet in the whole wide world said I had tartar on my teeth and I should get them cleaned. To my dismay Mom agreed! I don't know what she was thinking, because in order to do that, a vampire took a whole bunch of my blood! All of this was very very mean.

Mom apologized a bunch of times but I was very sad because on top of it I know I have to go back in a few weeks. When we got home, she wanted to give me some treats for being such a good brave boy, but do you know what happened? My stoooopid brother came running and actually acted like a troll to me! He hissed so loud at me that he had to snort to catch his breath! And I didn't get any of the treats that were supposed to be mine.

My feelings are very hurt. And my bud Eric had the same sort of an icky day which put an entire damper on his 100th post, so if you haven't visited him, go on over and cheer him up. I know how he feels, because now I can't even think of what I'm going to do for mine.

Not fair and not fun.

  2. O dear, Wm.! I'm so sorry about your day, but at least that means tomorrow will probably be a lot better ... don't even think about that teeth-cleaning thing until it's time.

  3. Oh, my, what a bad day. It's not nice to get tricked at the stabby place. Max can tell you all about those vampire vets, too. And on top of all that you didn't even get your treats. Bummer. I hope tomorrow is a much better day for you.

  4. Oh William, so sorry you had such a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. How could you have tartar, you take such good care of your teeth by chewing cardboard stuff and other things. Big bummer.

  9. It sucks that you got tricked, William. But ya know what? After your teeth are cleaned they will feel a lot better. Really. I had mine cleaned last year.

  10. Oh Wm., that's just terrible. When they found tartar on my teeth and I went for a cleaning, they wound up pulling a tooth! I hope that doesn't happen to you.

Then hissing on top of not getting your treats! What a terrible day.

  11. What a bummer to have to go to the VET at this time of year. I think there should be a law, no VET visits between Thanksgiving and New Years. Just spoils our holiday fun.

  12. It's been a hard day all over the blogosphere. Bummer about having to get the teeth cleaned. Then that' will make your mom want to brush your teeth and she'll torture you with THAT for a while. 500 posts? Cool!
