Wake Up And Go To Sleep Again.

So for the second time this week Mom overslept today by about a hundred years. This is not typical behavior for her and she thinks the problem is that the radio station that goes on instead of that horrible beepy noise has been off the air due to transmitter troubles. Well. Not very helpful, if you ask me. It throws everything off and I don't get a chance to knead on her while she has coffee!

And not only that, but she was so late this morning that she didn't get to clean out the cat box until she got home for lunch!

So I told Mom maybe she needs to go to bed as early as she can and get sleep on this end. And to station K blah blah blah, you'd better get that transmitter stuff fixed so Mom gets up on time tomorrow!

  1. Oh no, not good with your mum being late for work. But couldn't she pick a new station for a few days?

Even better if she could just stay in bed and snuggle all day.

  2. Could be worse. The Woman forgot to clean our boxes for TWO DAYS. You'd think with 2 boxes that would be ok but Buddah makes them really foul...

  4. Yeah William why dont you wake your Hummie up? I know exactly what time to wake mine up, its easy you just stick your bum in her face or your wet nose on hers. Works every time!

  5. Oh no, not the dreaded, 'Ill clean your box later' syndrome, oh Willie, I feel for you...been there, done that. If it persists, by all means 'plant' some treats around the house to get the message across, loud and clear: 'litter box, top priority'

And, do step up to the challenge and wake your Meowmie at the appropriate time (I like to start around 5 AM)hair-tugging, eyelid licking, blind bonking....all good .

  7. Maybe she needs you to keep track of her schedule. I am fond of whining and flicking the blinds and knocking things off the nightstand and dresser about 1/2 hour before my agent's alarm clock goes off.

It's my way of telling her how much I care...

  8. Oh it's not good that your Momma is late. Maybe you need to bounce on her first thing when the radio comes on.

  9. What!!! Do you mean you had to use a dirty box? You must have a few stern words with her, Wm. and nip this behavior in the bud. First it's half a day, then skipping a day, then one thing leads to another, and before you know it, there's no clean spot at all. I'm telling you, Wm. you must take control of this!

  10. Hi,
Fanks for coming down to visit us- we are enjoying very much meeting cats from all over the world.
You are a very handsome boy and Poppygirl was excited to meet another black cat as sometimes she feels overwhelmed by a sea of tabbies.
please fank your mum for her compliment on my spots, my mum & dad loves my spotty tummy too & usually can't resist kissing it when I display it as a special treat for them.

  11. Oh my goodness! Maybe she should just call in sick so you get your sleepy time.
I likes the idea of waking her up, just don't get confused like I do sometimes and wake them up on a weekend. Boy do they not likes that...

  12. Oh dear, not good with the oversleeping. But how come your mum doesn't get a cat alarm call?

I am a very good alarm kitty, I generally jump on my humans exactly 5 minutes before the alarms go off. They have 1 radio alarm and 3 beepy ones as well as me because they are not good at waking up.

Trust me, it is impossible to go back to sleep with a Fat Eric on your pillow licking your hair...

  14. There is nothing worse than not being able to knead when you want to. Derby has a good idea about just staying in bed and snuggling all day.

  17. Maybe she should just ask you to be her wakey box Wm. You could jump on her at the right time efurry morning. Of course we poodies don't really keep track of time, so it might be kinda erratic, but sounds like her waking is that already ~Merlin, Shadow, ko kO
