Fun Times.

Guess what happened this morning? There was a spider on the kitchen ceiling! Mom asked me what I was looking at as I sat on the breakfast bar so I told her. Then I called to the spider to make him move, and he did. Then, I jumped and ran and jumped and ran trying to catch him as he scurried along the walls. Maybe I got a little carried away because Mom finally said, "William, don't wreck the house trying to get a spider."

So I just waited until she went hunting.

  4. Mothers just don't understand. When a cat is hunting, things are going to get broken. It is part of the chase. It is all about manuvering ourselves into the best pounce position. If there is a Ming vase in the way, well, it has to be moved.

I hope you kicked some spider butt, William. Leave it on your Mothers pillow.

  5. Well, did you get it or not? Spiders are small, but very tasty! I saw one on our ceiling, but couldn't jump that high. (sigh)

  7. Spiders are so delicious. I don't tend to get them so often so I am very envious! I hope you caught him and devoured him, licking your chops all the while to savor the taste! Mmmmmm...spidey goodness....

  8. I am the best hunter of spiders in the house. Patches just watches them! I play with them, swat them with my tosies and tease them up, then I eat them. Mom says icky and makes a face; but if she finds one, she always tells me about it.

  10. I guess you and mom went hunting at the same time, huh William? You have good eyes. Do you chirp when you see a bug you can't get to? I do. I'm trying to coax them into coming closer. Usually it doesn't work. Grrr. I hate having to be patient...

  13. I leave the bug hunting to the younger Brats. Too much effort just to have the Dad turn around and kill it on me.
