Home Improvement.

It was very breezy here today, and I got to wondering if the Squirrels were OK with no branches covering their front and back entryways any more. I got into my special window to see if I could see them. And do you know what? They were out tidying up the leaves and stuff that had blown near their entryways. And when they were done doing that, they started to make a whole new entryway into their home! Boy, were they digging a lot. Now they have as many doors as we do!

Hmm. I wonder if they need some weatherstripping.

  2. hmmm, i wonder why they did that? i made my Mom put some rocks around the chipmunk holes so it's kind of a barrier for rain and stuff. i've never seen squirrels who live underground, tho

  3. It is pretty weird. Mom had put up a little wall around the other holes, thinking that would give them a little protection. Maybe they just weren't all that impressed.

  4. William, my mom says you are so funny and such a generous boy to offer some of your weatherstripping and such a caring boy to be so worried about the squirrels' home. She asks me why I cant be more like you.

  5. They'd have to do you a giant favor as payback if you gave them some of your weatherstripping.

  7. Well, remember awhile back when my mom found that chewed-up box but the weatherstripping was mysteriously missing? Shhhh.
