Wowee.

Have you noticed what I've noticed? We have ONE GIANT CAT COMMUNITY going! I never dreamed there would be so many of us talking to each other. It's so fun visiting everybody and finding comments from friends every day.

And a special welcome to my newest friends. I'm so glad you came to visit. Whew! I'm going to have Mom help me add to my site list again!

Oh, and I have something to share about my new play thing, too, since some of you said you had trouble with yours tipping over. Ours did that too–and I'm pretty sure it was Olivia the little piglet eating machine with the kangaroo in her who kept doing it, because a tiny boy like me couldn't possibly tip it over–but then Mom put a brick on the base, kinda like she did with our tree. Now I can play on it with Olivia and her kangaroo and it doesn't budge!

  1. Congratulations on spreading the word. I hope you can convert a lot of people to the feline cause.

  2. We looked at the brick idea. Due to Magoo's size, it would have to be 17 lbs of brick to balance off his weight. We had a larger cat tree built form him before we got Smudge and Bella, and we had the carpenter triple the thickness of the base. Even then, if he hits it at full speed, he can make it sway pretty noticeably. But he is getting older, and does not do it as much.

So I don't know who started all of this but I am glad we found everyone!

  7. Yeah that happened with Ko Ko's shredded tree to so Mom had to tuck it in between two low bookcases because he runs from across the room and takes a flying jump and lands on the top shelf. It's very fun to watch...and hear. ~merlin, shadow, koko

  10. Just this morning I was thinking about the growing number of cat bloggers and then I visited your blog and look what you wrote! It amazes me when I sit down with Mom or Dad to read all my friends' blogs and I look up and so much time has gone by that I end up taking a nap. You, Ginger and Timothy Dickens were the first three other blogging cats I found and I just can't believe how much fun this has become for me. It truly is a nice community.

  15. Hi William. I don't blog yet but I love "meeting" all these other kitties through their blogs. I just found a page called Caturday,(www.caturday.com) the lady there is very sad because she lost her cat. Please go there and say hi to her.

  17. WMD, since discovering Max's blog last spring and venturing forth to other feline blogs, I have found that it is a lot of fun to read the feline point-of-view. I try to read you guys everyday. I never know what I will find. Some may make me sad and others glad. Thank you, everyone, for taking the time to write down your adventures.
