Oops.

So last night Mom was getting ready to clean out our cat box. She did what she usually does, which is to tell us beforehand so we don't get all crazy and start dancing around with our legs crossed and stuff. Then she waits a little bit just in case.

Well, she did that and waited and it was all quiet, so she got ready and took the lid off. And do you know what happened? Eddie shot right out of there like a Roman candle! He'd been very quietly busy in there!

Eddie was all upset and yelling at Mom and she was all apologetic, but I thought it was just the funniest thing!

  1. My smallest boy (Keith) has the job of scooping the boxes every morning. I have found a very funny way to irritate the thunder out of him (before his ADHD meds get to working well - he's more even keeled after that). I wait until he has scooped one box all clean, and then when he gets started on the other one, I lay a big stinky pooh in the one he just cleaned! Hahahahaha, what fun we have. Or I have...

  2. Mum does the same thing. Announces that it is time to go do the box. Plus she usually does about the same time at night 7 PM. Mine isn't covered so I can't hide in it. But a couple of times and soon as she is done, I move in and do my thing.

  3. Ohh, I fogotted. Bummer that you have dialup. It can take a long time to work on things but mum needs high speed so she can work from home. Guess we is lucky.

Plus mum says we use Mozilla Firefox as our browser. You can open all of the links in a folder all at one time. Then click through them quickly. At least quickly on a high speed connectins. Mum says Mr. Gates software should work so well. hehehehe

  4. That is so funny. Mommy tries to tell us that she's about to clean our boxes too, but we don't listen. she goes near them and we just jump in and make sure that she gets everyting out.

  5. a clean box is the best kind to use. why walk around in wet stuff if you don't have to?

  6. When Mom tells Brach and I that she is going to clean the box, I hear, "Kitties...wait until I scoop your poop into a plastic bag, then stick your head in there like you have to give it a final once-over before it gets tossed."

But then again, I have a difficult time understanding the spoken human language...

  7. When you gotta go, you gotta go, that's all, but if Mittens has used the box and Mom didn't get at it to scoop, I just walk gingerly in there, do my duty, and get out quick, no burying for me.

  8. Oh poor Eddie! I usually wait for mom to clean in and then use it. She always says, "Mia, I just cleaned it and your using it b4 I can even put the lid back on". I know, mom. She goes away and then comes back when I'm done and cleans it again. I like a clean box, you know.

  9. Scout hops in and helps mom dig around for the clumps as she goes from box to box. We all love to hop in when the litter is being refreshed. Sometimes we get in even as shes pouring it in! Ahhhh......

  10. Oh oh. How embarassing! I just stand around and wait for Grandma to clean my box and put fresh litter in it. Cuz yeah it's so nice to use fresh litter!

  13. Oh my, poor Eddie!

Our mom once walked in on Miss S and she shot out like a rocket, then did the dance. So mom shot out like a rocket and Miss S finished her business. Lots of fast moving bodies that day!
