Sometimes Mom Takes The Fun Right Out Of Stuff.

I'm not going to mention Caroline tonight because this is my blog and it's time to get back to me. Besides, do you know what my mom did now? She put some kind of a movable flap right where we get into the cat box, and I really really doubt it has anything to do with privacy. I'm pretty sure it has everything to do with stopping me from kicking out 14 pounds of cat litter every day. And I can't figure out how to get it off, either. It is so not fair.

Especially when Caroline has those litter-holding toes that leave a trail all over the house. I don't see the flap helping that little problem. I roll my eyes in her general direction.

And I said I wasn't going to mention Caroline tonight because this is my blog!

  1. Sounds like you guys are becoming a regular family with the new pretty Caroline (you are very pretty too Olivia). Having siblings is pretty neat. Kinsey kitten constantly asks Mom for a sibling, and Mom tells her she has all of us. ~Merlin, Shadow, Ko Ko

  2. William, my Mom says for your Mom to go here...

Back when I had a litter box, which I don't even remember, Mom had something like this down so that I wouldn't track it.

  3. Humans are so weird about the litter box, aren't they William? The two-legged one had to get a box with a hood on it to protect her delicate sensibilities. I don't see her enclosing her water chair on all sides!

  4. every once in-a-while my mom tries to put the plastic flappy thing on the opening to my box - i just sit in front of it and cry. no matter how stuburn my mom tries to be, my "pity-ful little cry" [that's what she calls it] always wins. i like to put about half the litter from my box onto the floor, just about everytime i go!

  5. Litter digging is one of the finer things in life. Tell mom to get a broom.

  7. We have a GIANT litterbox. Mom says it's really a "underbed storage" thing, but we don't think there's a way for her to put a flappy thing on the front. Instead we have a mat we step out onto. But our litter gets tracked around anyway. We have to do what we can, you know!

  8. It's good we can share our litter box gripes like this--since obviously our humans just don't get it!
